Kieser Training: your way to improve your health

The Kieser Training method is originally a European idea. Pioneered by Werner Kieser from Switzerland, this method is based on the concept that we grow on resistance. In a recent study in Germany, study participants have seen effect as early as two weeks: energy levels were up. That energy levels are noticeably increased is an effect of strengthening your muscles because with stronger muscles your body will carry itself much easier.
The study examined training effects among 500 participants who used the Kieser Training method twice a week each time for 30 minutes for a period of 6 months. Pain has been reduced by 36% among 341 of the 500 participants. In particular, those participants who reported a restriction of their leisure activities (like hiking or going to a concert) could reduce these restrictions by 50%. Now what are the reason participants had pain before participating in this study?
According to health insurance companies in Germany 80% of all back pain related health issues go back to weak muscles and a lack of exercise. Having back pain is very common and more the result of our habits rather than any underlying diseases. This is an important clue. Because is means that regular exercise using the Kieser Training method may be an effective way to avoid or get rid of back pain. That is the simple truth: using Kieser Training you have the power to improve your health without any additional measure such as medication or visiting the chiropractic’s office. Hence, before looking into these approaches, valuable and indicated as they may be, have a look at a much simpler approach that gives you the ultimate control over your health.

How Ricola works for me

A few niche products make it to the top. Ricola is one of them. In case you do not know, Ricola is this healthy candy made out of 13 precious and healing herbs. The recipe for Ricola has been the same for over 70 years. I like that already, at least some good things stay the same. We use it especially when we have a sore throat or are about to get one in the summer with all the blasting ACs around me (bus, coffee shop, department store), in the metro in NYC and in winter against coughing and hoarse or sore throat caused by colds. It is not just the healing effect of the herbs and the taste that we like, but it is also the feeling of cleanliness and good breath. Sure you could take a mouth wash but I do not always like the more medical taste in my mouth. And it’s easy to have a Ricola candy in your pocket rather than a mouth wash, though there pocket sizes available.

With my scientific training, I am naturally very self-observant and I noticed that above all the good features mentioned before, Ricola turns on saliva production. In turn this means more wetness for my mouth and throat and that helps the mucosa to defend itself against summer and winter colds. Makes sense for me. Because a dry mucosa is much more vulnerable for bacterial and viral attacks. Hence, Ricola works for me. Over 70 years Ricola is one of the most trusted brands in Switzerland and I trust it too.
